Hi, i’m Sarah.
I’m the co-founder of Flat Earth Pizzas, an award-winning, vegetarian pizzeria based in East London, as well as a marketing and sustainability consultant for the hospitality industry.
My focus is on how small businesses can take meaningful steps toward sustainability and showcase their efforts effectively.
From day one, Flat Earth been committed to sustainability, and recently, we achieved top marks in the Sustainable Restaurant Association’s Food Made Good certification. We’re proud to be the only single-site pizzeria currently recognised.
My background in marketing has enabled me to confidently communicate our eco-approach and has helped us build a strong and loyal community. Our guests are our advocates - they visit us time and time again.
My perspective could be particularly relevant to you if you own or operate a small businesses. Certifications like B Corp and others can often feel out of reach for single-site or smaller companies due to constraints around time, money, or resources.
I was honoured to be listed in Code Hospitality’s Women of the Year 2024 under the Sustainability Trailblazer category.
I’ve worked across multi-sectors from QSR and casual dining, to high end restaurants and premium bars. I’ve held positions in-house with large corporate companies as well as start ups and independent businesses, harnessing the best way to work for maximum results within marketing.
I set up my own consultancy in 2016 and have built up a tool kit of tried and tested methods for success that can be adapted to suit the needs of many different hospitality businesses.
